SSAIB
Founded in 1994, SSAIB (Security Systems and Alarm Inspection Board) are a dedicated and independent Certification Body that holds a wide range of accreditation within the specialist fields of security services, electronic security and fire systems, Telecare services and fire risk assessment.
VOG Fire and Security are members of the SSAIB, giving you the peace of mind that you are dealing with a professional fire and security company who are checked on their performance and standard of work on a regular basis.
Ongoing assessments
We go through frequent and ongoing assessments by the SSAIB who check our management systems, procedures, insurances, quality of installations, quality of maintenance and our technical competence. These inspections ensure our work are always to the highest standards and comply with all the current regulation.
Consequently, by using an SSAIB approved company our customers and prospective customers can have total confidence in the design, installation and quality of service of their chosen system and know that it will be strictly in compliance with all relevant British and European standards.
The SSAIB guarantee
The SSAIB will provide a certificate of conformity for every system we install
This certificate can be passed on to your insurance company where it is possible to receive further discount on your insurance as the security system has been installed by a member of the SSAIB.
The SSAIB guarantee that approved companies have the following capabilities and structures:
- Suitable premises with high security of documents and records
- Competent in installing and maintaining security systems
- All employees have been security screened
- Has all the appropriate insurance cover
- Can install systems that are eligible for Police Response
- Can install systems acceptable to your insurers
- Are subject to regular inspection to check the standard of work
- ssues a certificate of conformity for each system installed
- Engineers and surveyors carry ID cards
- Compliant with all relevant standards and codes of practice
